Homeschooling Conference 2004 - 21^st August 2004

 The KwaZulu-Natal Home Schooling Association (KZNHSA) is holding its annual conference on the 21^st August at the Hillcrest Christian Academy. On behalf of the organising committee, I would like to extend you an invitation to exhibit educational merchandise at this meeting. We are expecting an excellent turn-out, based on the growing number of homeschooling families, attendance to previous conferences as well as an exciting line-up of speakers on topical homeschooling issues.

 Lectures dedicated primarily to prospective and relative new homeschooling parents will be held during the morning in the auditorium adjoining the main hall. These presentations include keynote addresses by Leendert van Oostrum (Pestalozzi Trust), and by Prof. Betty Weichers (UNISA) who will be presenting results from Mrs Deirdre Bester’s award-winning Masters dissertation on homeschooling in South Africa. Workshops aimed at more established homeschooling parents will be held during the afternoon. It is hoped that separating sessions for new and established homeschoolers will allow participants to manage their time more efficiently, providing ample opportunity to interact with exhibitors. 

 Stands to exhibit your products will be located in the main hall, where tea will be served during breaks. Tressle tables approximately 2.5 m long will be provided at a cost of R300 each. (Table cloths can be provided at an extra cost, if required.) At this stage I would appreciate if you could communicate your interest in exhibiting at the KZNHSA 2004 Conference, and indicate whether you require one or two tables.

 A Conference Proceedings with summaries of the talks presented, and other relevant home-schooling information disseminated by the KZNHSA, will be included in the entrance fee for participants. Please indicate whether you would be interested in placing an advertisement in this publication (cost to be advised), which at a later stage could serve as a reference guide for participants.
